What we do

A second chance for food. More possibilities for people.

We connect surplus ingredients with the time, care and community needed to turn them into nourishing meals.
How it works

Good food. A better purpose.

Rescue

Good ingredients deserve a second chance. We recover surplus food from grocery stores, growers and our neighbors.

Cook

A little care goes a long way. We turn rescued ingredients into nutritious, ready-to-heat meals.

Serve

From our kitchen to the community. Our meals reach families and neighbors through local nonprofit partners.

Food rescue & meal distribution

From fresh ingredients to ready-to-heat.

We recover usable surplus food from grocery stores, including Whole Foods, individual donors and local growers. We prepare, package and freeze meals to extend their shelf life and distribute them through nonprofit partners.

Our Neighborhood Cooking Program also brings volunteers’ home kitchens into the effort with provided ingredients, supplies and recipes.

Our education vision

Skills that last beyond a meal.

Food education is an important part of our next chapter. We’re working toward cooking classes and workshops focused on nutrition, budget shopping, meal prep and healthier routines for families and young people.

These are future program plans, not currently scheduled classes.
